Day 10: Favourite Candy

Hacks and Lemon Tea Candy are my favouritest candies in the whole wide world. Since I’ve drawn Hacks awhile back, I thought I should draw the Lemon Tea Candy instead.

HOWEVER. I don’t have a reference for the sweet! I am not one of those wonder people who can draw right from memory, I need a reference! For quite sometime now, the minimart in my neighbourhood has not been stocking the Lemon Tea Candy which means I can’t buy one to eat and reference?! And since it is a local (read: Singapore) sweet, it doesn’t turn out on Google search results too! Even EGO’s website doesn’t have this in their product catalogue.

Finally, out of frustration and desperation to eat this sweet again, I actually emailed EGO to clarify whether they have stopped producing the Lemon Tea Sweet or something. Meanwhile, I attempted to draw from memory so here it is.

Does anyone know what sweet I am talking about here? Or is it just me… :(

I can’t stop eating them! :/
